Cultural Similarites
At Brooksward we learn all about cultural similarites. It's amazing to be able to share our stories with each and to see how similar we are.
Mrs Shaikh set the children some very exciting homework recently when we celebrated Cultural Similarities Week in school.
The challenge was for all children to make a video presentation presenting their culture to include the following :
-Introduce your culture
-Talk about the food and drink of your culture
-What clothing does your culture generally wear, both simple and on special occasions?
-What are the customs of your culture?
-What do you love the most about your culture?
We had some amazing videos. A lot of thought and effort went into them all. 5 winners were chosen and Miss Shaikh made a compilation video of them which you can see by clicking below.
